The Seven Canons

1. Think before you act

Every action has a consequence.

Our philosophy is never doing anything without planning through our actions and valuing their impact.

Every action we do is carefully thought out, and takes care of its impact on others.

2. Good with the good, evil with the evil

We have an objective of social justice, and combat abuse — such as abuse of vulnerable people, sexual assault, discrimination, censorship, or libel —, with the primary goal of preventing those horrible acts from happening in the first place.

In second place, when it is too late, we want to make sure victims have justice.

People who have dealt irrepairable damage should face permanent consequences.

3. Leaders, not followers

We are no slaves of anyone else, nor bound to anyone else's will.

We never act on someone else's behalf, neither for free, not for money.

We don't stick to a precise agenda or viewpoint, but follow whatever we retain a priority for us.

While we are aware that our views may sometimes hurt common sense, we don't care as long as it does not make us more enemies.

We don't impose our viewpoints on anyone else.

4. The ends justify the means

We prioritize getting results over moral coherence.

We believe that manipulation is a tool that can be used for good and for bad, like any ordinary tool (think of a kitchen knife).

We use manipulation, along with any other means, to pursue our ideals, and we want to educate people about ways to use it for make good happen.

Still, we are against use of manipulation in bad faith — i.e. to damage or traumatize others, be it for personal benefit or not.

5. Learn from experience

We keep a record of everything made by or happened to us, including outcomes, in order to never repeat past mistakes again and improve our acting.

We have no issues asking for help or opinions in case we don't know whether doing a certain action would be right or wrong to our standards.

In case that does not work either, we allow ourselves to do some testing on the field.

Humans, after all, learn from experience, especially about other people.

The outcome will have a role in future planning of our operations, and serve as experience for us.

6. Hope is the last to die

We believe in freedom.

Re-education is scientifically proven as the best way to prevent criminal acts.

We believe in rehabilitation at all costs, and finding a way to separate a person from their demons.

Those who can repair their damages, have the moral duty to do the repair, as soon as possible.

If someone can't be rehabilitated, they must be sheltered away from their victims.

Freedom within walls is better than total restrainment.

7. Better together

We prefer each of us to not act on one's own, and confront with others before and during operations.

We carry every operation in small, highly coordinated groups ("vector"s).

Each person in the vector ("component") counts, and the actions of each of them contribute equally to the result.

We impose no obligation to carry out operations along with others, and rely on consent and common interests to keep us coordinated.

We are NOT intersectionalist: a herd of thousands of people with only one thing in common could never be considered as one.
